Liberals and progressives who need to get a life and better understand that American democracy is all about the "vital center," should read the column from the Washington Times a week or so ago: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/nov/02/davis-its-time-liberals-drop-public-option/

This is one of these all-over-the-place, go-back-to-the-start articles. The House health care reform bill is FULL of good stuff. Does it please everyone? Is Social Security perfect? Is there life after death? My point is that the basics are sound in the bill, and if the Senate can get on board with something reasonably close, then Congress gets something to the President by December. Then, we are off to other challenges, of which there are many. The country voted for change, and we are getting change. Those who want no change at all are happy with all-over-the-place articles. They amount to nothing!
